Parks and people matter. When we invest in others by supporting recreation, we ultimately invest in ourselves. Businesses thrive. Every generation enjoys a finer quality of life. Children in camp get to genuinely play, be outdoors, and disconnect from devices for a while. Young counselors gaining important leadership skills turn into socially competent and well-rounded adults ready to give back to their communities.
Interests come and go, family dynamics morph and seasonal priorities are always shifting. It’s our job as your Recreation Department to be open-minded and willing to serve you and your families so that through recreation we can all grow into even more productive members of society, putting smiles on people’s faces as we go.
