CO-ED VOLLEYBALL: Come play co-ed volleyball and have fun! This league consists of eight teams. Teams play on Thursday nights (time depending on the schedule). The fall season is under way, but call if you’re interested we may have spots open. The Winter Season runs from the Thursday after New Years—the end of April. Fees are collected at the beginning of each season. Games are competitive, yet fun and recreational!

RECREATION SPANISH VOLLEBALL: The Recreation Department will be hosting a Spanish Volleyball program. This program takes place at Pawling Middle School starting early November. For more information, dates, times and fees, please call the Recreation Department.
OVER 35 BASKETBALL PROGRAM: Are you over 35 and looking for something to do on a Friday night? Head to Pawling Elementary School! Pawling Recreation has reserved gym time for those 35 and older looking to play some pick up basketball games. Have fun while exercising as you run up and down the court. Gym time starts at 7:00 pm and goes until 9:00 pm. For more information call Mark Chipkin at 855-9155.

GENERAL EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT (GED) CLASS: Need your GED? Attend classes close to home. The Town of Pawling in cooperation with Dutchess Community College conducts a series of seminar-based programs for individuals who are looking to improve their job opportunities by earning their GED. Students who are 17 or 18 years old, out of school or wishing to enter the GED program must call 431-8905 to meet with an advisor and get more information. All students must register in person and bring a photo ID.

ADULT BEGINNER YOGA Have you ever wanted to try yoga but felt intimidated or like you didn't have the “right” body for yoga? Well… yoga is for EVERY BODY! Learn the basics of yoga in a safe, fun, non-competitive environment. Yoga is truly a body AND mind workout. You will not only learn the basic poses to gain strength, flexibility, coordination and body confidence. You will also learn breathing and visualization techniques to achieve stress reduction, inner quiet, and calmness. Yoga can be varied to accommodate all ages and fitness levels.
